This study demonstrates the potential of low-cost Raspberry Shake (RS) sensors for advancing volcanic monitoring, using Yasur volcano as a testbed. Deployed at various distances, including directly at the crater rim, these sensors proved resilient and effective in capturing a wide range of eruptive phenomena, from Strombolian explosions to gas puffing events.
